Hi Stan!

Sorry I haven't been giving out the hugs lately but I've been having a flare up so bad that I can hardly read anything on the computer. It's really been bothering my eyes.

I had to bump up on the prednisone I normally take anyway and over the last couple of days I've had symptoms of a UTI.

Could be why the M.S. is flared up.

Anyway back in June I had the same thing going on and ignored it. After about a week of ignoring it, I ended up in the hospital for several days on I.V. antibiotics with a kidney infection and an e-coli infection in my blood stream.
I went into septic shock and almost bought the farm!

Just wanted to let everyone know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers daily and I'll be back on giving hugs in a few days if all goes well at the hospital.

I know that UTI's are common in people with M.S. and I also know that it's wise not to ignore the symptoms.

So please anyone who reads this,...

		Molly!! I know how youre feeling exactly!! I felt the same way in May. First thing Neuro did was have me test for a UTI--YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO HAVE SYMPTOMS TO HAVE AN UTI!!! (This is the case w/me!)--UTIs can cause flares or psuedo-flares. I sending you many good thought and hugs!! I was going to write you too!! Whoa, that's scary! I just finished a round of Levaquin antibiotics for a UTI and to think what could have happened... EEK! Thanks for the heads up! Get better soon, woman!
